The phrase “I want to scale my business” has been tossed around a lot lately by coaches, experts, and entrepreneurs. At first, I was happy.

It’s great people’s businesses are doing so great that they are ready for scale! They’re ready to make that massive impact in the world, grow their empires, and get out there.

But upon further inspection, I realized….

Wait a second!

These people are NOT ready for scaling at all!

In fact, their efforts to “scale” are being sabotaged because they don’t fully understand:

1. What that would really even look like for their business
2. When it’s time for them to step into scaling in general

To this, I realized that most entrepreneurs simply have no idea what scaling even means.

And fun sexy phrases and jargon aside, we can’t keep confusing the people!
